The Aeroquip Express concept allows Omniflex to take advantage of marketing and merchandising support from Eaton/Aeroquip to provide products to our customers in a retail atmosphere. Our Aeroquip Express stores allow us to show our customers the many products we normally stored behind the counter.
A clean, well-lit environment that displays a wide variety of clearly labeled products is available for customers to browse while waiting for a custom made hose assembly. Although about 40% of the retail products shown are of Aeroquip manufacture, the balance is made up of complementary products such as hydraulic oil, valves, gauges, pumps and motors. Through customer communication additional product needs are considered and added to satisfy local demand.
The Cambridge store was opened in June of 2001 and has steadily increased its customer base of service tradesmen that provide maintenance to local industries, lift truck repair, construction companies, local government and utility companies.
The Brampton store opened officially in May of 2003. The Cambridge location also utilizes an Aeroquip Express Trailer in which there is a crimp machine capable of fabricating 2” ID six spiral hoses, as well stocking hose, tubing, adapter and accessory needs to facilitate on site customer installations and retrofits of hydraulic systems.
